🎯 Objectives
The revenue share mechanism for bNFT is designed to:
- Ensure fairness among bNFTs, based on actual value, name quality, and reward history.
- Reduce the excessive advantage of bNFTs with extremely short names. This encourages users to create or trade bNFTs based on market value, rather than just short names.
⚙️ How the scoring system selects bNFTs for rewards
Each bNFT will be assigned a total score by the system. The higher the score, the greater the chance of receiving rewards.
The total score is calculated based on three main factors:
| Component | Impact on Score | Role in System |
| Market Value (P) | High (~65–70%) | Prioritizes bNFTs with higher actual transaction values. Note: The shorter the bNFT, the higher the starting value ⇒ likely, P is also higher. However, if two bNFTs have the same short length but one is traded at a higher price, it will have a higher P and thus a higher total score |
| Reward History (S) | Medium (~20–25%) | bNFTs that have received rewards before will have their scores slightly reduced to give less “fortunate” bNFTs a better chance, minimizing the role of luck, and creating a more balanced bNFT economy. |
| Name Length (L) | Low (~5–10%) | Short names are still slightly favored, but no longer overwhelmingly so. Note: The short-long factor is already included significantly in the P value above (accounting for 65–70% of the impact). |
Note: The system uses a soft adjustment algorithm (sigmoid) so the scores change smoothly, avoiding sudden differences.
💡 Example
- Previously, a 3-character bNFT had an absolute advantage over a longer 4-character bNFT.
- But in this new version, the official transaction value in the Marketplace (excluding OTC) at the last transaction has a much greater influence (65-70%). Thus, a 4-character bNFT traded at a higher price can have more advantage than a 3-character bNFT traded at a lower price for some reason.
👉 In summary: True value is king!
🤝 So, what should you do?
- Focus on creating bNFTs based on actual value instead of just length.
- Longer bNFTs now have a chance to receive rewards, opening up new opportunities for you.
What has improved compared to before?
Previously, the system strongly favored bNFTs with extremely short names, making it almost impossible for longer bNFTs to receive rewards.
With the new version, the scoring method has been adjusted to be fairer and more sustainable.
| Before | Now – New Version |
| The shorter the name, the higher the score → easy domination of reward rounds | The impact of name length has been smoothed with a sigmoid function → short names still have an advantage, but are no longer overwhelming as other factors are also considered. |
| No clear consideration of market value. Two bNFTs of the same length, appearing in the same oNFT, are considered equal in value. | Actual transaction value on the Marketplace is the main deciding factor (~65–70%). Two bNFTs of the same length, appearing in the same oNFT, will differ depending on their transaction value and past rewards received. |
| A bNFT could repeatedly receive rewards if lucky. | The score is automatically reduced if a bNFT has already received rewards, for fairer distribution and to minimize luck as a factor. |
✅ Benefits of this improvement:
- Users can focus on creating bNFTs with real value (via official Marketplace transactions).
- The reward system becomes fairer and offers more opportunities to more people.
- This demonstrates that the Core Team always listens to community feedback, continuously improving to ensure the best experience and fairness for all.
